The Friendship Clinic is a free clinic that is held two Saturdays a month at the Ingham Community Health Center in Lansing, Michigan. Students from MSU's Colleges of Human Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine volunteer to work with attending physicians to see patients in need.

There's also a website for Friendship Clinic hosted by the College of Osteopathic Medicine. It can be found here.

There are numerous opportunities for students to volunteer their time. There are, of course, many slots available to see patients at the Saturday clinics, but there are also chances to work during the week. Also, if students have a particular interest in ophthalmology, Unite for Sight provides free eye screenings to the patients at the Saturday clinics.
